The work was recovered in Guadalajara by Elena Garzía and Marta Urmeneta. The picture, oil on linen cloth and of great dimensions was in lamentable state of deterioration, with cracks, holes, losses, over-painting, and oxidation as well as colour loss in the varnish layers&#8230; (see more information in the attached news).</p>
