Writer Beatriz Lagos has come to Spain to present her last novel, “La novia Rusa”, an acclimated exciting story in the Russia of 17th century. The cover of the book has been painted by Elena Garzía. The presentation of the novel was celebrated the 11/05/07 in the House of Guadalajara, in Madrid, and the 29/05/07 in the palace of Dávalos in Guadalajara, Spain. Art and Mercy in the convents of Castile - the Spot during the century of the Quijote “showed in the Museum of Santa Cruz de Toledo. The work was recovered in Guadalajara by Elena Garzía and Marta Urmeneta. The picture, oil on linen cloth and of great dimensions was in lamentable state of deterioration, with cracks, holes, losses, over-painting, and oxidation as well as colour loss in the varnish layers… (see more information in the attached news).
